Lauren has long been involved in photography, starting with work as a portrait artist’s assistant and later moving on to landscape and action photography. She also honed her graphic design skills by serving in a variety of roles, including Senior Graphic Designer at Computer-Rx Pharmacy software. As a volunteer gig, Lauren also designed numerous logos, graphics, plaques and t-shirts for Oklahoma Cross Country Racing Association.
Lauren attended the University of Oklahoma from 1997 to 2001 and obtained a Bachelors of Geography. She was active in campus life, serving as a Resident Advisor, Hall President and Programming Director. These experiences kicked off an enthusiasm for graphic design, writing and photography.
Upon receiving her Bachelor’s degree, Lauren transferred immediately into Graduate school at the University of Oklahoma and eventually received her Master’s of Human Relations in 2003 with a 4.0 GPA. She also graduated as a member of the Phi Kappa Phi honor society.
